Beef. It's what's for dinner.

One of my favorite bottles from this past year - the Davids kicked @$$ with this pick

Recently picked up my first bottle of Redbreast 12 CS (Batch B1/11), and opened it tonight. Yowza--truly phenomenal whiskey.

Yessir. In my Top 5 whiskies of All-Time, of any type. Heck, I'll throw every other liquid in there, too...:D

My top 5 liquids are mostly occupied by the bodily fluids of well known actresses, and, of course, Sunny Delight.

WTF?! Ha! This is the most amazing thing I have read recently. I think we have a contender for post of the year.

A little Rosebank 21 tonight. Light in color, but comes on strong. I need another go round with this one because the ABV took me by surprise the first sip. Very unique and tasty. Floral and sweetness with a very specific bite.

Good stuff! I will go out on a limb and say it's better than the gastro-vatted LostBottle blend.

I think I started a run on Rosebank when I opened that bottle. Next time, I will bunker all I need before uncorking anything.

I need to work on securing a respectable bunker first. By my calculations, I'm less than halfway there.

Only bottles were taken from MN. You had your chance at them too. If you need another one, I think that Hi Time still has one or two in stock.

Out of curiosity, what number do you aim for before you consider it a respectable bunker?

Take a totally insane number. Now double it.

Totally insane depends on the person. I would have thought a couple of years ago that 100 bottles was insane. Now I've got that covered 6 fold. :)

A bit over enough and just short of divorce.

That's the formula I've always subscribed to...though "just short" has come closer than comfortable at times.

600!?!? Thats friggen crazy! My wife is freaking out that I broke 150 (closer to 170 in reality), 600 would get me thrown out for sure. Where do you find the space for that?

It's mind boggling...

For me it is not about sheer quantity so much as super-high quality these days. I could be very happy with 100 bottles from about 5 dead distilleries.

You should pick up a shelving unit while at costco.. I have it from a pretty good source they hold around 500 bottles.

6+ inches of snow and the wind is howling, and the mercury is plunging. Got the neighbor's and my driveway blown out and am having a "healthy" pour of Talisker to dry out and warm up.

I don't know the answer to your question, but wives, fiancées, girlfriends, significant others...have nothing to do with it! :D
