I want to use ETL and something else as an intro session. What sound like more fun?

ETL and FR1B?

ETL and ER10?

ETL and EC12?

In Terms of what I want to accomplish, primarily fun with 2 solid pours that span a particular bourbon flavor profile along the $30 range.

Before you guys responded, I was leaning toward the ETL and ER10. I think they're both good Buffalo Trace showings and they're both single barrel, yet different ages and recipes. The ETL has that butterscotch smooth factor and ER10 has that woody spice factor, I think they would make nice examples of what bourbon is up to. I also think it's key to show two classic bourbon tastes. I think Four Roses does things differently, in my mind, they are their own style of bourbon.

I think I'll do the ETL with ER10.

SmknJoe-I did not think I was a barrel proof person, but I tasted William Larue Weller this weekend in Louisville and it blew me away. My dad then took me to Silver Dollar to taste Pappy 15, it was amazing, but I kept thinking of that WLW all day long, wow. I have no idea where to buy the WLW, but I want it badly.
