Howdy!

I just got an email from the LCBO informing me of this.

So, how many of you folk are in Ontario? And how many bourbon nerds are there in Ontario?

My man, not to question your generosity....but this is posted in the Google searchable part of the SB site. Meaning many many people will see this and magically appear in line along with you. Maybe even ahead of you

I can say i know there's a few who post regularly on here, but if memory serves the allocation to Ontario is not much.

I'm not that worried. I live in Quebec. It will be an extreme long shot for me to get there in the first place. I also posted the same info on r/bourbon

Apologies. I emailed the LCBO about the bottles being in their database, but without any quantities. They came back with the release date, and a suggestion that I email them again around the middle to the end of November to get locations and quantities. I'd suggest you do that, and then talk to whatever store is closest to you to find out how early you need to line up...

Here in Quebec we got 3 bottles (in total) of Pappy Van Winkle 20 year and 6 bottles in total of the 10 year. The last guy to get one was on line at 7 o'clock in the AM. This year, I'm planning on setting my alarm clock a little earlier...
