Breaking Into the Bourbon Industry

I understand the title is a misnomer seeing that bourbon doesn't constitute a specific industry but with that being said, I'm interested in finding a job in the alcoholic beverage industry, preferably working in the finance side of things. I understand that the best way into a field is usually through internships however I haven't been able to find many, if any, open internships at the major producers.

If any of those here who happen to be in that field would be able to spare a few minutes and allow me to pick their brain on how they broke into the beverage industry I would be extremely grateful. Either here by PM or I can give out my email if that would be more convenient. Thank you all.

Try the microdistillers forums at www.adiforums.com . Finding part time or internship work there for some startups might seems little more feasible.

Since you mentioned finance, maybe you could approach the distributers in your area.
