LostBottle
It looks like Angel's Envy has some competition. Bowman is releasing another port finished bourbon, this one will be aged 12 years. It is nice to see Bowman say when it was distilled and bottled, unlike the competition. It is also nice to know who actually made the stuff. The article made it sound like Bowman is looking to expand these endeavors, which is kind of cool (the gingerbread beer finished sounded intriguing). Old Lamplighter
This is good news indeed. I'll definitely be interested as I missed out on the last one. Never tried AE but this finish has always been intriguing to me.
portwood
The bourbon is NOT port finished it is finished in ex-sweet wine barrels.Port can only be made in Portugal, just as Bourbon can only be made in the USA.
WhiskyRI
I had the gingerbread bourbon at Whiskyfest and it didn't do much for me. I toured their 'distillery' this summer and I do like their bourbon so it's great to see them experimenting and releasing these annual releases. Still, your point stands.
MyOldKyDram
Bowman Sweet Wine gotta ring to it. They should finish it in Thunderbird barrels or something.

squire
Bad form, yes, I must agree, though I doubt the established descriptors can be changed now after such long usage.
