Bourbon of the Year?

I know we have the Bourbon of the Month but do we have a Bourbon of the Year?

My apologies in advance if we do. I've tried search but with no luck.

Assuming we're talking about items available in retail, my vote is for ECBP. Batch 1 is the only one I've tried, but I can't think of anything else I've had that I liked more (including FR125, which was pretty damn good!) It just blew me away. Everything that was close was nearly 2x the price.

The first thing that popped in to my head was PHC7 PoH, I really liked that stuff.

Tough to argue against ECBP, especially considering the value. I wouldn't be surprised to see AECS win just based on reading what others have had to say about it.

I think if I had to pick my personal favorite bottle that I've purchased, it be the FRSB Private Selection OBSK recipe.

My vote goes to an OGD 86 bottled in '82 that I found THIS year. Oh wait, is this thread for a 2013 bottling only?

Seriously, I too would love to see some 'best of 2013" categories where we can all vote on things. Such as, 'best rye', 'best new release', 'best BIB', 'best in X price range'.....etc
