ModernThirst
ECBP is a small batch barrel proof. I don't see any reason why EW couldn't be as well. I have no problem cutting it to the barrel entry proof. I would most likely cut it to a lower proof anyway. I just wonder how this product would differentiate from ECBP other than age. I assume it might be a little less woody. Which, honestly, I would welcome.Assuming age is the main difference, then we would expect a lower price than ECBP, right? Well, apparently the $40 ceramic jug plays into it as well! squire
Yes, a NAS barrel proof EW should cost somewhere between Evan Willams Single Barrel and Elijah Craig Barrel Proof. In a perfect World anyway.
Scubarex
I was at heaven hill last weekend it is not barrel proof...it is"barrel strength" apparently an unregulated term as it was cut from 129 proof to 125. It was also aged 7. Needless to say I didn't pull the trigger...

Well son of a...With some of the shenanigans being pulled, this could very well be related to the lifting ability of an upcoming cartoon mascot nicknamed "Barrel". squire
So now we have a barrel strength that is actually higher in alcohol content than a competitor's barrel proof. Cleaver that.
