I much prefer the KCSB to the WT Rare Breed.

I just had some KCSB followed by EC12/ECBP (60/40) - and the EC blend blows it away. So technically not Barrel Proof (it's about 110), but it is terrific.

WLW. Wish they'd find some extra barrels of this lying around.

Working my way through the 4R collection at barrel proof and so far they are all good and mostly GREAT. I am also a RB fan so that's a good choice. The nice thing about BP is you can try it full strength and stay put if it suits you or you can add water to various proof points and see if the personality changes in a way that you find even more enjoyable. I seem to land in the 100-105 zone as a sweet spot by cutting after tasting, that's what works for me but the journey with each new BP is a great deal of fun. That process has been very educational for me in terms of defining what and how I prefer my bourbon. Cheers!!

I think the 2010 GTS stands out as one of my all-time favorites. It's usually WLW or GTS for me every year, but that 2010 was a darn good bottle.

I got an 4R OESQ barrel proof that I love. I hope to procure a few more. Other than one off releases, nothing comes close to ECBP for my tastes.

I second that! OESQ is liquid heaven.

Agreed, the store I got it from keeps telling me they're "out" but then they magically find more. I'm hoping to check in and see if they have anymore soon-ish.

I know the original poster is in the UK, but here in the US I think OGD 114 is probably the biggest bargain in this area. It's usually $20-25. I don't believe it still says "Barrel Proof" anywhere on the packaging, but in the ND days that branding was all over it. Either Beam still produces OGD at the ND strengths, or they produce it at 120 proof and cut it to 114. If it's the latter, while that's not barrel proof it's only marginally below it.

If Chuck Cowdery is anywhere nearby, maybe he'll chime in. He's the Beamcyclopedia around these parts.

Worth seeking out though rb, OGD 114 is a regular production item so a resupply can't be too far behind.

I'm not so sure you can say that these days, squire.
