For that range I would be looking for something Barrel strength, EC, StaggJR, Booker's, Barrel Selects of four roses, etc.. A lot of bang (and flavor) for your buck if no water is added

I would look for Bookers or Knob Creek Single Barrel (120 proof).

After searching several stores and towns with not much luck on higher end stuff like ECBP or Stagg Jr., etc I ended up with Col EH Taylor small batch. Great stuff.

That's not a bad choice, Bluff, I enjoy the CEHT SmB. I never see the ECBP in Wisconsin, so if you ever find some and aren't going to clear them out, let me know. Stagg Jr. pops up here and there, but doesn't last long - the last store where I saw it had three bottles a couple weeks ago, and I was back last week and they were gone. I saw a few people recommending the Four Roses barrel selects - a fine suggestion if it could be found, but again I've never run into one around here.

I also did find a bottle of OWA, for mid $20 range and higher proof thought was ok but not in same class as the EH Taylor.
