ramblinman
Not trash talking it at all, but I got a bottle of VOB (age stated) 90 proof and just cannot get into it.I have however found that its become my go-to bourbon for cooking, really works well for glazing pretty much anything I've put it on. Renegator
I started to read this thread and was surprised it was about labels people didn't enjoy drinking. I was expecting to hear about bottles that had turned. Either it was open for too long and had turned in the bottle or you simply got a bad bottle. Does this ever happen? I remember a mate opened a JBW that he had had for about 10 years. It had floaty bits in it. It didn't look good but drink fairly normal. Like wine, do bottles of bourbon ever go bad or turn?I had a bottle of WRMC Maple Finish that I think turned bad after being open about 6 months. I've never experienced that with any other bottle. I mean, it went from good to terrible.

It's probably just the days you sipped it. Maple Finish is a strong harsh one that's not for everybody.
