According to Sku, it comes from Strong Spirits in Bardstown, KY. They are a bottler. The distiller could be a TN distiller or MGP.

Strong Spirits, Inc., Bardstown, KY. This Bardstown company bottles bourbons for its own labels and those of others. These include:

Barrell Bourbon (including bottlings distilled in Tennessee and MGP) and Rye (MGP)

But Strong doesn't do any aging, and Bourbonr says that it is distilled in TN and aged in Kentucky. Would JD/Brown-Forman do something like that? Seems like Diageo, then.

Setting aside a whole bunch of obvious objections*, if we're strictly looking at companies that distill in TN and age in KY, it could also be Corsair. They have a distillery in Nashville and a still/warehouse in Bowling Green. I have no idea why they would do that, but they've done work for other distilleries in the past -- both Collier & McKeel and Popcorn Sutton got started on their equipment. Obviously, supplying Barrell (sic) would be a much different ball game; all I'm saying is that they've demonstrated the willingness and capacity to contract out services before.

* For example, this is a five year old bourbon, and I'm pretty sure Corsair wasn't making bourbon five years ago. Then again, maybe they did as an experiment, and don't want to release it now, under their own brand, since they've established themselves as an "anything-but-bourbon" distillery. Just whistling here ...

With a recipe of 70/25/5 doesn't seem like it would be Dickel or JD as I can't see them running a special recipe for a small NDP. Not sure if Prichards makes their own? If not Corsair might be the best bet as stated above

Wasn't Corsair planning on a bourbon release at one point?

Yes, or so they said at the distillery a couple of weeks ago. "Planning on" being the operative phrase. I don't think they have made any so far and I specifically asked. So far they have also done little or no aging with full size barrels and don't appear to have much room to do so in Nashville so I would guess it is likely to be "lightly aged" in their usual small barrels if they do make any. Haven't been to Bowling Green so don't what is there. But so far they say all the whiskey is made in Nashville on their old and relatively small pot still. I would guess they are unlikely as the source for this, whatever it is.
