We had a band practice last night. Up at my friend's house way up on the hill. Two degrees colder up there. Windy, snowy. Guitar, harmonica, fiddle, banjo, mandolin, and of course Bulleit was invited. It was a great practice, some new tunes, our standard old tunes, and we killed the bottle. I am not (yet) a connoisseur, just an enthusiast, but I have to say friends and music, and single digit temperatures outside sure make bourbon taste wonderful.

Everything tastes better with good company around. That's why there's so much sharing in our little community here.

Well said! Having some great whiskey around doesn't hurt, but having a sincere shortage of ass-hats helps a lot more :) If I could drink amazing whiskey with morons, or just EWBL with most of the folks on here, I'd go with the EW every day of the week.

Sounds like good times. I do the same with my band mates/drinking fellows. Wish I could have joined you - looks like you need a bass player.
