I just read over on some FB bourbon page about a unicorn only bourbon meeting where you submit your bottle and has to be approved before you can attend. What a pompous thing to do. I'm so glad for the generosity here. Some time ago I was invited through a friend to attend a social at TomH's house before I was even a member here. It was the catalyst that prompted me to join up here. Tom didn't ask for me to bring anything. He pointed me to some 23 year and told me I should try it with a clear palate. Anyway the folks I meet on here have for to be some of the most generous folks I've encountered. I will now get off my soapbox. Cheers everyone! I love this place.

I'm not going to judge them but do agreed on the community aspect here.

The generosity of some members here are lengen <wait for it> dary!

Also, when I started, I was able to attend some of the East Bay Study Group. You can find some notes of some sessions where there were some fine unicorn being served freely and it was free admission just bring a good attitude.
