Hello all, just looking for advice here. I have been offered this bottle and i know its a rare bottle at only 3000 bottles released world wide, would you say it worth the money at $600 Au or there are better options out there like Pappy or BTAC bottles ? Not at that price. I know of a bottle on the shelf in Brisbane at about $380 from hazy memory (I can check for sure if you are keen).

Hi Robbie, confirmed today that the Rittenhouse 25 is still on the shelf:

It is a Queens Plaza Wine + Beer Bottleshop in Brisbane CBD.

I spoke to Jack the manager and told him someone might be after it.

The shelf price was indeed $380, but if you ask Jack nicely, he should be able to knock a few bucks off.

Thats better than the price I have seen it for in Sydney. Last time I checked, a store was asking more than 1K for it.

That's a prize pickup right there Robbie. The standard Rittenhouse BIB is impressive so the 25 year will be something special indeed. Never seen one anywhere in my neck of the woods before. Congrats!

I have the 100 proof and that is sweet i really enjoy sipping that at the weekends Yeah it was a good find at that price another dealer wanted double that never understand why so much of a difference in price ?

I called a place today as I wanted the WLW 10 and an extra Stagg 10, so rang them up to see if they would price match a company not far away. The guys reply was as these bottle have been on our shelves a while I'll take 10 off the price each as it will cost me $350 to replace them so if you don't want them that's the price they will be on the website after I change it lol could not believe it.

Let it go for a while, it probably wont sell seeing as its been there for a while already, if its still there in six months go in person and lowball them, remind them you made an offer six months ago and it hadnt sold yet, dont be a smart arse, just open your wallet and show them cash.
