Lots of people on this board have tried both of these fine whiskeys. I have not. There was a time if I saw them in a store and the price was reasonable, near the state price (in MI approximately $80) I'd buy both.

If you are interested in learning about how fine bourbons taste that would be a wonderful start.

Too of the very good bourbon out there. Close your eyes and pick one would be just fine.

Personally, I love both. Would suggest to get both if you can. I'm a wheated guy at heart so would do WLW over GTS. WLW is also harder to come by. GTS may be more popular since the masses care about proof more and if you want a little more kick.

Thanks very much for the replies, I am leaning towards the WLW as it's so hard to find, and I can not believe they are both 2010 too. I wish money would stretch to both but over here they are so expensive it's unreal so maybe the Weller will be first hit

I got 2 bottles today GTS 2011 and the 2010 Handy seriouly got g to grab a GTS 10 if ifs still around in a few weeks. The WLW was the 11 which I have was hoping for the 10.

Without a doubt I'd pick the Weller. That being said, I have been called a Weller Whore before. :skep: Even by myself.
