horn1602
In tried to search for this but couldn't find it. If I missed it, delete thread, ban user. :drinking:I haven't been drinking Four Roses for that long, but I'm curious about the single barrel. It seems that unless the single barrel is a store pick, the recipe for the barrel isn't included on the bottle. There is also a significant price difference between the standard SB an the store selections that include the specific recipes. Am I missing something? It seems to me that if it was a single barrel, the recipe should be known/included on the bottle whethe it was a store pick (or from the gift shop) or not. Probably a simple answer to a simple minded question, but I've wondered this for a short while now and felt I finally had to ask.
smknjoe
All standard FRSB is OBSV at 100 proof. That's why they don't put the recipe on the label. The entire 10 recipes are only available if it's a part of the Private Barrel Selection program. And some stores even do a "store select" standard FRSB which is still just the OBSV at 100 proof. Much appreciated. I'm not sure why this was so hard to find on my own. Looks like we can lock this one up boys!!

Correct. But for access to all ten recipes the pick must be part of the Private Barrel selection program and bottled at barrel strength. Which is nice
