tmas
Hi Folks, Just wondering when the Old Forrester 86 label was changed from the one that dated back to the 1940's. Is there any difference between the bottlings with the old label & the newer stuff? I saw a couple of 1.75s with the old label and just wondered if they might be anything interesting. squire
I would get them but wouldn't expect much difference. My reasoning is current demand is driving flavor profiles to be a bit younger and though I don't know this to be the case with Forester it doesn't hurt to grab the older expression. That and one can never have too many 1.75s on hand.

If I saw ANY OF product in pennsylvania it would be in my storage tonight. Not even counting a slighly older possibility. Or a 1.75. I have my favs, but getting any favs in this day and age in a 1.75 what are you doing deciding? Finding a BT liter here...yeah Ill drive 8 hrs to philly... JPBoston
I hear ya, and agree with your point... But, if it makes you feel better, the last several handles of BT I've had, have been lackluster... to put it mildly. The same with OWA, before it disappeared from shelves here a year ago. Still get a little craving for OWA from time to time despite that fact though.Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk

I am continuously thankful that I don't live in a state with ABC stores. Edited May 8, 2014 by tmas
