Sam's Sale

I just now got around to emailing my order, even though the Fall Warehouse Sale is more than half-way through (it ends 10/31).

I usually restrict my out-of-state orders to higher priced bottlings, those for which the savings in sales tax will offset the shipping cost. This time, on the strength of my enjoyment of my glass of Buffalo Trace this afternoon (OK, make that two glasses), I made an exception and added a couple of bottles of it to my order.

If Buffalo Trace were available on the shelves in California, I might end up drinking more of it than any other bottling. I don't recall being very impressed with my first bottle, which I finished months ago, but I now pronounce it my personal "best buy", all-around, anytime bourbon. (Sam's sale price is $15.21 a bottle. )
