warrenjl1
Hi all,New to the site, and unfortunately must admit I'm a relative newcomer to bourbon over the last 2 or 3 years as it has really begun to explode. Did a search, but didn't come up with much...I'm heading to New Orleans later this summer and I'm looking for some really great places to purchase something special that I may not be able to find in my home (control) state. Looking for things like Willett, and other more rare-ish, but obtainable things. I'm certainly not naive enough to think that any store is going to have Willett sitting on the shelf, just wondering where the odds might be in my favor. Thanks. NOLABigChief
Dorignac's and Martin Wine Cellar are your best bets. There are a few shops on the Northshore as well if you're going to have a car.Happy Hunting.
squire
Dorignacs and Martins have been my first stops for years but I would also check with Trey for some other choices.

NOLABigChief
Being a life-long New Orleans resident I'd love to know where Trey is shopping too (Maybe Elio's)

wadewood
Is it just me or does anybody else find it weird that the OP would be super excited to find a bottle of Willett? We really are in a shortage.
T Comp
Being new to the site, you are diminishing your chances when asking in a forum open to the reading public. Just the way it is now.

brettckeen
I really like keife and co. in lee's circle, they had some cool BT experiments when I was there last. 105 entry on 11yr 9month bourbon was tastey.
