I'm going to be in Cape May for the better part of a week, with the in-laws. So, for a variety of reasons, I'm hoping there are some good shopping options in the general area. Any advice? Thanks -- Clay

Hi Clay - we vacation in Cape May every summer - in Cape May itself (out toward the ferry) is Gorman's. They probably have the best whiskey selection in town. If you are downtown, Collier's is your best bet but the whiskey selection is limited.

If you venture a bit further out, there is a Joe Canal's up in Rio Grande, or Green's Liquors in Wildwood. Canal's selection is decent, Green's more limited.

In any event, enjoy Cape May! Love that area -

Awesome! Thanks, Sutton. I'll probably have time to check all of those out. I'll just tell my wife it's for, um, research.

I've heard good things about Joe Canal's. A bit too far south for me unless I am taking a trip to South Jersey, but I'd like to check one of their stores out sometime. They seem to have some good store barrels.

Have fun Clay - the selection is OK, you'll find something that will be to your taste I'm sure. Besides, whatever it is, it always goes better on vacation, whether managing the grill, or just relaxing on the porch swing in the evening! This was where I learned to put a $10 HH BiB 4 yr, OGD BiB, WT101, and a Glenfarclas 12 out of the 'fridge. They all worked in Cape May ...! :)
