Indeed. This year it falls on our 40th wedding anniversary. Mixed emotions abound today - celebrating the anniversary while remembering lost friends.

No toasting today; under the weather with a damned cold. But, I am remembering all the heroes, including my recently passed Father, who was among the 'greatest generation' that won WW2 for us, along with some others I know (and knew) from various eras.

Here's to all who serve, and who have served, this great experiment in representative democracy and liberty.
