No mention of Bulleit? Both the "regular" bourbon and the rye hit the price point.

Stuff must be cheap North of Beantown. Out in Central Mass both are reliably mid-thirties.

I can get a 1.75 of Bulleit for $33

And where might that be?

There are a few of the bigger stores in and around Nashville that have it for $33. A handle of Jim Beam Black is also a steal at $29 before tax!

Well below 30 bucks but Old Forester Signature is very good.

Yes, what Oscar said. I forgot about this one.

Like Cool Springs Wine and Spirits or more central to Nashville? I'm about 15 minutes from Cool Springs.

Not to be overly nit-pickey here but wouldn't it be good to have a few more years in the barrel?

KBD got some 8 year old Old Forester a few years ago and bottled it under the Willett name and it was the bomb, I still have one.

OF Sig reminds me of it.

not to doubt you, but how do you know it was specifically sourced as 8 year OF in that WFE bottle?

It was thru another "Bourbon Society".

We bought the whole barrel and and all the info was stamped on the barrel head.

But we were told not to divulge the source.

Hmmm, did I think that or say that?

Opps, close the barn doors!!!!

I love OF Sig, and I would love it even more with a couple years on it.

Yeah, like I said I still have one, it's barrel no 790, 8yo at 128.4 proof.

120 bottles came out of that barrel and we bought them all.

Oh man......barrel proof OFS at 8 years sounds absolutely delicious.

Regarding standard OFS, yes, I agree that some extra age would be quite welcome.

I'm really surprised that RR10Yr hasn't been mentioned, but I suppose it's because they lowered the proof to 90. I never got to try the 101, but the 90 is one of my favorites for under 30.

I'm also surprised that Woodford hasn't been mentioned. I don't like it personally, but lots of people do.

I think it's pretty rare to find Woodford under $30.

Woodford stays positioned in the premium price range around here. Doesn't move fast though.

OK. I bought mine at Costco last year for $24 but have never really paid attention to the price of it since then, as I just didn't care for it.
