bicktrav
Picked up a bottle of Jack Daniel's 1915 Gold Medal at the distillery years back and still haven't opened it. Has anyone tried this? Any thoughts on it?
squire
If you've tried 86 proof Jack Daniels you've tried this.
bicktrav
Is that all it is? A slightly altered proof version of Old No. 7?
squire
Not even altered, just the regular stuff at 86 proof.
DogfaceSoldier
Enjoy the nice box though.
squire
Take it to the office party just to show how much you care.
bicktrav
Wow. That's a real shame. Oh well... At least it's nice packaging.
Richnimrod
I bought an 'identical' bottle many years ago, also at the distillery. It tasted fine; but not any different than Black Jack.It is a nice box and a little snazzier bottle, if that floats your boat. I'd just drink it the same way would BJ.....OR, gift to someone who might think it's something special and really appreciate your "expensive taste and thoughtful gift". kjbeggs
On the bright side, you probably paid less than the price of a bottle of "Sinatra Select".
