gooneygoogoo
Thought about posting in the social forum but my trip is coming up pretty soon and didn't know if anybody would see it in there. Anyway, I will be in the area in a couple weeks. Any liquor store or bar & restaurant recommendations...or even sight seeing recommendations? I'll have a little time to kill so if anyone has any suggestions, I'd appreciate it.
sutton
Haven't been out that way in some time, but downtown Northhampton is interesting to explore.Don't know if they do tours, but I think Valley Malt is out in the Hadley area - they supply mostly local craft brewers - I've had some great beers in a few brewpubs in the area made from their grains/malts. Maybe they do tours?
JKLS
Table & Vine in Springfield is a nice store with a fair amount of single barrel selections.

IBLSKeith
Not bourbon related.....but in Southwick, MA there is the Pioneer Valley Live Steamers. http://www.pvls.org/They are a neat group that builds miniature steam locomotives that actually pull live passengers. The little locomotives burn coal and will haul an amazing number of adults and children.
WhiskyRI
Two non-whisky activities are the Basketball Hall of Fame and the Springfield Armory.
