fishnbowljoe
Going with something a little different tonight. In some corners not considered bourbon, but what the hey? Having a couple of pours of JDSS. Sad to say there's only a couple of pours left in this bottle. :frown:

393foureyedfox
had some OGD114 neat when I came home and was cooking dinner on an empty stomach.....try to remember not to do that next time....then sipped on some McKenna BIB. I find that this and current WT101 hit about the same spot, with a slightly better finish on the McK
ldugsjr1986
Started out with ER10 SB, moved onto ECBP the newest batch, and haven't decided where to go to next. Maybe back to BT but switch to mash bill #2 with some Blanton's anyway ... tough decision and glad I don't work tomorrow ...
gooneygoogoo
Several store select Buffalo Trace pours then a private selection Four Roses ones 12 year to cap the night.
elmossle
I think I should have done this in reverse order but started the evening with FR SmbLE '13. It had been a while since I visited the bottle and I forgot just how damn good it is. From there we moved on to WTRRSB and finished the night off with SAOS 10yr. Mighty fine night of bourbon. Old Dusty
Participating in Whiskey Wednesday w a pour of W12. This is a newer bottle and I am getting the "sooty" taste that several on here have described. First time I have run across it and this bottle gets one more chance before it heads to the blend decanter. Glad it's not my first rodeo with Grandpa Weller. Quintilian
My first try of Johnny Drum Private Stock. An apple-like and flowery nose, with atomic fireball at first and ends w/ cherry and oak undertones for me. Interesting stuff.

tylermke
Having some TPS OWA. I normally don't do this, but I put a few ice chips in my glass to help cope with tonight's heat. I was pleasantly surprised with the results! Not only does this OWA open up beautifully after the ice melts, it brings out a lot of caramel notes that were hidden previously. Darn good drinking! GaryT
Enjoyed some ECBP last night to calm the nerves before a panel interview this morning. Think it might be more effective during the interview, but would be impossible to hide the joyous facial expressions that are automatic when I sip it
