p_elliott
Fishnbowljoe got me into Alison Krauss. Speaking of which I think I will stick in the CD he gave me. She is going to be in Omaha this summer but I have to work. Edited June 29, 2014 by p_elliott

jonhalter
If its just me and a glass of bourbon, I tend to go with one of my many Counting Crows Live albums. Edited June 29, 2014 by jonhalter
ebo
It could be anything depending on my mood. Classic rock, stoner rock (love that term...lol), metal or blues. More often than not, I'll opt for blues.

Richnimrod
When accompaniment is available I like C&W.Marty Robbins old Gunfighter Ballads and Trail Songs comes quickly to mind; but their are others.Although . . .I don't usually need background, as I can make excellent music in my head after a few pours. :slappin:
dcbt
I like bluegrassy music for bourbon consumption. Jake Bugg and Jamestown Revival are currently fitting the bill. Maybe some Sheepdogs, Turnpike Troubadours, or Ryan Bingham for a more Texas country sound.

393foureyedfox
love me some blues-rock, like Bonamassa, or some blues-rock-jazz....either preferably acoustic. But, I listen to some of everything, except rap/hip-hop, and have a large collection ranging from the 50's to now. different moods...
flahute
I currently don't listen to music much while drinking bourbon because I'm usually sitting with my wife talking or watching a movie, but when I do jazz (like Miles Davis noted above) or folk type music fits the bill.My favorite Cincinnati band, Over The Rhine, is a blend of folk/country/soul/gospel/blues and goes VERY well with bourbon. They live on a farm just a couple hours from bourbon country and their music is very connected to the region so it's a very good fit.

Tony Santana
I have fairly eclectic musical tastes but lean to classic rock. I usually just put the ipod on shuffle, so it could jump from Stones to Joni Mitchell to Los Lobos to Art Pepper to Grateful Dead to Sinatra to . . . well, you get the picture.
