Could be anything. I enjoy a bunch of different music styles. Rock, jazz, classical what ever suits my mood. This weekend I was listening to London Grammar, McCoy Tyner and Glen Hansard.

When I really want to hunker down with a few good pours.. it is whatever comes out of my guitar, but if it's coming from my stereo, it's the good old classic rock,folk, and the blues for sure...( Stones, Dylan,Knopfler,Hendrix,J.J. Cale (R.I.P.), Lucinda Williams is fun to listen too while sippin' also.

My musical tastes are all over the place too. I'll mix in some rock from the 60's, 70's and 80's, along with some classic country. I'm not averse to some of today's new music either.

I keep planning to make a drinking mix with some Stones, Cash, ZZ Top (really like their latest record), Waylon, SRV, etc.

When I'm putting a few back, I tend to listen to Justin Beiber or Miley Cyrus.......don't judge me.

Honestly, its just about anything. I'm not a big music fan so its just background noise to me and the wife usually picks the music out.

It depends...DBT is my all-time favorite band and they go well with bourbon. Also love a good mix of country/classic and blues based rock/Americana/indie rock. I've currently got Gram Parsons and The Fallen Angels on the headphones.

DBT is some good music for bourbon and rye drinkin'. I will be seeing former member Jason Isbell live at the end of the month. I have sipped more than once to Mr Parsons too. My favorite all time music for sippin' is Neil Young, sometimes with Crazy Horse, sometimes with CSN, and sometimes solo Neil.

Ok, I am chiming in on this one. I love me some Judas Priest, Zakk Wylde, KISS (yeah,that's right), Eagles, ZZ, even New Orleans Jazz(great Pandora station,if you like this kinda' stuff). All over the board. But right now, 4th of July tradition, nothin' better than Ray Charles belting out "America the Beautiful". The best! One of the last songs my dad and I listened to before he passed away. Sentimental, at the least. Happy 4th everyone!

A lot of really great artists named so far that i also listen to (Krauss, Dylan, DBT, Young, etc.). A couple of great bands i enjoy in the same vein as DBT (alt country?) would be Lucero and Glossary*. For the more mellow times it would be Rocky Votolato or Laura Gibson. Cotton Jones has a nice modern psychedelic/folk hybrid sound. And Damien Jurado covers a huge range of moods and genres depending on which album you're listening to. Also, The Oh Hellos* are wonderful. They're a brother and sister from Austin and some of the nicest people. I've actually had the pleasure of giving some of these artists a bottle of whiskey when they came through town as a thanks for their great music that makes my own whiskey time even more enjoyable.

For the 4th, its Woody Guthrie. Cheers.

Guthrie is a great Choice. I love Hendrix's version of The Star Spangled Banner that he performed at Woostock. That and a good version of Stars and Strips are must listening on the 4th. This year, Stars and Strips Boston Pops Fiedler conducting.
