Usually the best is going with what you want to drink! This way you know for sure you will be happy to drink it.

Acquiring what you want to drink is always the best option.

Of course in many cases, trades are made for things someone cannot obtain by normal means, so they have no idea if they will actually like what they are trading for if they've never tasted it.

I'd say you made a good call on the ECBP (and I can't ever find it in TX, so I can only get it from my Bro-in-law).

The Stagg Jr is fairly easy to locate here (maybe not in your area), and opinions on it are all over the place. I didn't care for it at first, but found adding a bit of water or an ice-cube improved it greatly.

Don't know what you traded away, but assuming it was something you weren't going to miss too much, sounds like you came out OK.

GTS, mostly because of the proof making it super versitile to my tastes. My bunker has more ORVW10 though, it is easier to get access to.

Thanks for info. It's a good trade if you have multiples or don't care for it yourself. I have one and it's the highlight of my tiny dusty collection - Wild Turkey is a favorite for me.
