Larceny

Ritt 100 Rye

Just for fun, I added all five of these (750's) to my cart on a local retailer online.

Pretax total was $130.95.

not a bad way to spend 150 bucks!

RittBIB

WT101 (maybe EC12)

Blanton's

FRSB

That's it, that's what I'd get. Some good value pours and a couple premiums.

Ok - I can't claim that all of these are "readily available" today, but close enough I think (I left ETL off since it seems harder to come by these days; if it was in stock that day, I drop the W12 for it!)

1. FRSB

2. Bookers

3. OOGD 114

4. W12

5. OWA

And I'm assuming from the OP that I still have all of my Ryes ;)

If you had no bourbon.

Ritt BIB

FRSB (private pick/gift shop bottle ... I can't imagine at this point not having at least one of these around, if not 5-10 different ones)

EWSB

WT 101

KCSB

Booker's

Those are all available in my little part of the world. So it would be easy to obtain.

I'm going to have to change my list:

4RYL

4R1B

Baby Saz

Tom Moore BIB

EC12

I forgot about good old Tom Moore, and have been less favorable to ER10 lately.

Could really just go with a top 2, personally:

1. EC12

2. 4R SB (certainly the standard bottling, but PS are luckily available in my area)

---

3. WTRB (really need to try the 112)

4. OGD 114

5. EWSB

And the "I wish they were still available enough for this list":

OF Sig

ETL

W12

Given the growing size of my bunker, I'm not sure if the bigger problem isn't going to be finishing with nothing.

Thx, TBT, for Willett FEBSB Straight Rye (aka, green wax top) out my nose. I can relate. My good news is: I don't currently have any bottles in my car trunk awaiting space in the house.

Funny! have a car in the garage only used in the summer, this summer had to buy a cabinet to move the stuff from the trunk into so I may drive the car.

Picking up 5 bottles in WV, and resisting the urge to immediately drive west to the Commonwealth, I'd bring home Baker's, Booker's, Four Roses SB, Rittenhouse Rye, and maybe OWA.

From what's available to me in local provinces:

1.Makers Mark $43.00

2.Jim Beam Black (6year...not 8year) $29.00

3.Jeam Devils Cut (It's...OK...strong alcohol smell) $34.00

4.Jim Beam White (If I'm poor) $28.00

Getting Buffalo Trace to try it out soon, I'm sure it will compete with the Makers Mark.

From what I'm able to grab off the shelf, here's what I'd buy:

1. Four Roses PS

2. Buffalo Trace

3. Evan Williams SB

4. OWA

5. Booker's

Depending on my mood, I might swap out the Buffalo Trace for ER10 or ETL.

It wasn't that long ago that I was starting from nothing, but if I was to start over knowing what I know now...
