Grain Belt
My local is running a special on Cody Road bourbon and rye for $26.99 per 750ml bottle. Is it worth taking a chance?
suntour
One year aged in small barrels, safe bet is no.But if you're into disappointment and "well, it has alcohol in it", go for it!
squire
Or for half the money you could mix a small bottle of Jim Beam with a large bottle of cheap vodka. Edited September 1, 2014 by squire
TunnelTiger
Don't do it. Even if they give you a bottle free with the purchase of something else. Bottles like cody road are for non-SB members.
WAINWRIGHT
It is extremely grainy and green for obvious reasons,if you are trying to steer someone away from the craft scene this just might do it.
Vosgar
Ask the store if they have an open bottle you can sample and make your own decision. If they don't, my bottle of Batch 1 of their bourbon warrants me to advise you to either save your money or buy any, and I do mean any, other bottle of whiskey. brettckeen
I will say the product is improving as I taste new batches. They have come a long way, and have a long way still to travel.
