I just got my membership. Do you have to taste all the bourbons for the Master Taster designation at the bourbon House or can you do them on your own?

You have to do it there so they can stamp your little card. That said, since they don't really have much great stuff available at the bar anymore, it's hardly worth the time and expense. Plus you have to hang out at the Bourbon House :/

The reward for buying the dozens of drams from them seems to be your name on the wall.

You can have that for the price of a sharpie.

I will say, they do have "whiskey dinners" from time to time that are worth the price.
