Never knew that (re origins of Tang in NASA). Can you still buy it I wonder..?

Yes Gary, it is still available on the shelf at my local Kroger and Wal-mart. I actually use it in a pie filling.

2 graham cracker crusts

8 oz sour cream

1 can Eagle Brand milk

12 oz cool whip

1/2 cup Tang

Mix sour cream and Eagle brand milk together, add cool hip and mix well, add tang and mix and then pour into graham cracker crusts, spread and refrigerate.

I call it Big Orange pie and folks love it!
