Grain Belt
Long, tough day at work. Trying to make my world a little better with a OGDBIB/EWBIB blend based old fashioned. After searching through fancy tasting terms I have decided to call this "damned good."

Richnimrod
Did a casual side-by-side showdown between last year's HHSS and this year's (both are SB.com picks). Both very nice pours, as I'm sure most would agree. :grin:I found so little difference between 'em, I may just put 'em together in the bunker. Then again, I may re-visit, since my palate is so variable. If I again find such a very slight 'sour oaky' hint on the nose of '14, and the very slightly 'longer/mellower' finish on the '14, I may not. I shall see about that in a future test.

Flyfish
OE101, not really doing it for me tonight. Funny how something can grab you one night and then be indifferent to it the next. And yet some people rush to judgment based on a single pour before they "pour it down the drain." I used to think it took at least half a bottle before I could come to a definitive conclusion. Am now inclined to think it takes at least half a case. All in the interest of double-blind scientific precision and accounting for variables such as temperature, barometric pressure, and pollen count of course. Good stuff, and it should get better with some airtime.I'm a big fan of the 2014 CEHTBP. I think it is fantastic. At the moment i'm drinking a HWMWD Act 2.4 It is a bit overly sweet for my tastes. Personally i think it was overhyped and overpriced. I prefer plain old Rendezvous Rye to this.
KyleCBreese
CEHT SB followed by SAOS Ten. I prefer the SA tonight. The CEHT was a little harsh.
