Had lamaze class all day and then a trip to Babies R Us yesterday. Exhausting. Settled in with some EC21, ECBP Batch 1, and ER 10 last night.

Pulled a bottle of WA from the back of the open section and am enjoying a pour of that this afternoon. Rainy day here in the Carolina's.

Rain came a day early here too. All over the board today, started out with some EWBIB, the Willett 2 yr rye and now some WTRB.

Just a real relaxing kind of day.

Some GBS OESO is wrapping up this dreary Sunday quite nicely

I'm with you on the GBS OESO. It's helping me recover from yesterday's first official college visit with my oldest son. Sticker shock.

I can only imagine - you might need a few bottles!

Oh - and a post-wrap-up with some GBS OBSK (just can't keep my hands off the FRSB tonight!)

WSR as my second pour. The WA was considerably better. Really getting a taste of corn from the WSR and not enjoying it.

You and me both, a cold rainy evening needs the warmth of GBS OBSK.

had some new WTRB today. I worked on cleaning up an abandoned home/lot down the street today, but once I got rained out I just went home and stayed in the rest of the day. Its been a cool dreary day, but a good one to stay in and vegetate.

Don't drink 1792 often but did have some this evening at a work function. Came home and had EWSB night cap.

I had two pours of a store selection of 4R OBSF (11yr 3m, 61.8%). It is very good neat (which is how I drink most of my whiskey), but becomes pretty spectacular with a small slash of water.

Watching Sunday Night Football and enjoying a 'dessert' of a series of small sweet pours.

First up was a Willett 23yr at 101.2 proof. I usually don't like the old ones due to the excessive wood character but this one works for me. The wood is there, but is subtle because the barrel was stored on the first floor in the cold part of the warehouse. It mingles nicely with a very sweet entry on the palate.

Next up was the HHSS#2.

Currently it's PH8.

It's a good night for the taste buds.

I cracked open my first bottle of OldFitzBiB. It's hard to believe this juice is 100 proof. It's minty goodness.

I am suffering through McCormick's blended whiskey, in a United Club in LAX airport. It's their "bourbon". It was a struggle to drink it neat, then it was hard to finish off with diet coke. I switched to the rum, which was somehow less awful, probably because i drink less rum.

However, it's complimentary! I usually say that it's always better to drink for free. This is testing that theory.
