Does anyone here subscribe to "The Bourbon Review." I subscribed and received the Spring 2014 issue, it is supposed to be published quarterly but I have not received anything since.

I subscribe. It is somewhat irregular as far as timing of issues. Not often a great deal of 'news' that isn't already known, since it is hard copy and takes awhile to put together, and then mail out.

I'm satisfied with it though. It is always beautifully produced, with excellent color reproduction in the photos, and even the ads (which are not at all in short supply).

I still subscribe, and have never been disappointed. The magazine is often (after here) my lifeline to what's happening in the bourbon world..... but with colour pictures...... and advertisements we never see here

Being in Australia means I typically don't receive my copy until 4-6 weeks after it's published. Maybe that's more normal than I thought?

I did a subscription around 2 years ago after enjoying the magazine on the bourbon trail. I subscribed, got 2 issues then nothing for 6 months. I inquired online about the missing issues and a few days later got a response. I was told their system does subscriptions by the year and since I subscribed in the middle of the year it didn't recognize I was due another 2 issues. Alrighty then, to their credit I was then mailed the back issues. I wasn't offered a opportunity to renew and I just let it go.

Summer 2014 I guess I haven't gotten the fall issue yet unless the kids misplaced it

I think my last issue was the Summer one.... My issues typically take about 4-6 weeks to travel Downunder, so I won't see my Fall issue until mid next month. There was only ever one issue that didn't turn up (a few years ago now), so I contacted the magazine, and they got me a copy express posted the next week. Can't argue with that service

Picked mine out of the mailbox yesterday and was not disappointed with the usual fine physical execution of the product.

The content, as usual was not special, nor really new; but I don't expect that.

Yeah it is hard to put anything new a magazine because we have instant access on the internet to so much and the lead time to print a magazine is weeks.

Exactly so, my friend. The satisfaction of holding in one hand a favored pour, and the other the results of the efforts made by the writers and photographers; not to mention the printers and distribution folx is worth the cheese... And you can sit outside in the sun, (or wind and rain if that's your thing) without worrying over the electronics. I occasionally find this practice satisfying as hell.

Fall issue arrived at home on Monday. Seems funny sitting in the pre-summer heat reading about Fall and Winter goings on, but it's always fun.

I am reviving an old thread to ask a NEW question.  Does anyone here subscribe to the digital edition on android?  I subscribed but have no idea how or where to go to read it.  I thought I would get an email or something.
