It should just be on there when you open Kindle. I subscribe to a newspaper on Kindle and I don't get any notification, it just downloads automatically.

I didn't buy it through Kindle.  I purchased it off their web site thinking I would get an email or something telling me how to access it.  I don't know how they would know where I want to read it from the website. I wanted to use the Google Play Newstand (Android). I also have Kindle but it does not show up anywhere.
