Passed on ETL for $39.99 and WT Tradition for $150. I've never seen WT Tradition before but it's a tough decision for anything at that price.

same here. Up by me, no luck. Although one place I stopped at today had the commerative edition bottle. Asking $400. No thanks.

Not it sure where in Maryland you are but I did a web search and supposedly, total wine in Potomac has it. But take it with a grain of salt as I am not sure how reliable it is. I guess it doesn't hurt to give them a call.

my bro in law lives about 40 minutes southwest of Baltimore. Need to scope out the liquor stores in the area next time I visit.

The VA ABC stores have it in stock quite often. They are probably your best bet. Maybe Monty county ABCs. I haven't seen it in stock anywhere else in MD recently.

I passed on Lost Prophet being offered to me for somewhere in that range as well. Having read some reviews, I think the Forged Oak is the one that is more interesting and should be a much better price, something around $70?

No, ECBP was $60 in both NJ and PA (may have been $50 plus shipping and tax in PA). I've seen EC23 as low as $200, but that was a couple months ago now.

Definitely inflated prices on both counts; probably why they are still on the shelf (at least the ECBP; I haven't seen it on a shelf since the first release!)

Had the manager of one of my main stores tell me she had a Michter's 20 year in the safe if i was interested. Wasn't interested and they didn't have the price in their computer yet, but she said their cost was $350.

Ironically I was just on the phone Friday with my guy at the ABC store asking about ETL. He told he hasn't gotten any in a while. Last year I could have walked into one of five stores and picked up how ever many I wanted. Now I can't find one bottle.

The last BP SAOS 8 yr I bought (last year) was $47.99. At $39.99 I'd definitely bunker a few.

Saw 3 bottles of Rock Hill Farm, one of my favorites. But they had marked price up to $64.99. Bought 2 in Bowling Green Ky right before Christmas for $49.99. Just couldn't see spending that much more. Hell, for $45 difference i could drive up to KY!

I picked up a number of pedestrian but reliable bottles this week during a biz trip to Tennessee and Virginia. Really not worth mentioning in the other appropriate thread. But literally, had my hands on the Beam Signature Soft Red Wheat at three different stores, only to set it back to their places on the shelves. That is very noteworthy for me, as it is most definitely a first for me on a bottle that I want to get. WTF is wrong with me...?!?! Joey gettin' a conscience? Have I become disciplined?!? Proper restraint?!? Finally showing more self control than our Sheltie? Is my Whiskirexia Nervosa in remission?!?

I'm frightened...
