I recently read (in Mr. Cowdery's BCR) about a new product being introduced in selected markets in mid-October.

The cities noted in the article were; Chicago, Denver, Louisville, Nashville, NYC and San Francisco. Not Detroit... too bad for me.

I am so wishing I could taste this, as it sounds interesting in the article. Chuck describes it as a mingling of barrels selected from three different warehouses, each with a different production date, each with a different barrel entry proof, and each with a different maturation period. This could be super-tasty, I'm guessing.

Being a fan of Old Forester, and Signature, and Birthday; I would love to hear anyone's impressions of this new Bourbon.

It's not inexpensive. Chuck mentioned a suggested price of $44.95. Could be worth it... or maybe not.

So, has any body seen, bought; and more importantly tasted this offering???

I tasted it well into WhiseyFest in SF. The OF guys said hey didn't even know he bottle would be there and said it had arrived the day before (with a temporary label attached). Since I had 20+ bourbons before it, I an only say it was pretty good but not remarkably great. It's rougher than the current OF sig release and less sweet. It was however, much better than the 2014 OFBB which is really rough. I'm also an OF fan and really loved OF in the 80s.

Since it didn't have a real label on it yet, I'm pretty sure it wasn't in market yet.
