t44tq
Tans I'd correct. I don't know why we can still get oop scotch over here, but we can. I think it has has to do with Taiwan being the #2 market by volume and #1 market in growth. Plus, it could be that TW is the bellwether for taste in China. Cognac used to be huge over here, but at some point scotch became the drink of choice (along with Kaoliang).Cheers! Thanks, I had no idea what your location meant. Not only that, what someone puts in his/her profile is not always literal (or necessarily truthful)- not to say that I didn't believe you.
boneuphtoner
1. Best reasonably priced - KCSB - cask strength (or very close to it) for less than $30 on sale...as good or better than most Booker's...a no brainer IMHO2. Best rare/collectible - I'm in love with the Midway Liquors OESQ that I bought earlier this year. As good for my palate as the 2012 or 2013 LE Small Batches.3. Best "legendary" - I opened up for just a couple of small pours of one of 2 PH Promise of Hope bottles I have, and they were as good as the one I bought from a different store that I bought earlier and finished very quickly. I have yet to find a more delicious bourbon.

BFerguson
To me this met all three, I thought was reasonably price for what they are, and you have to lump them together for the rare/legendary status. God that was a great night!!http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14/10/22/d0acd5de96996051922f92781c136194.jpg
