It appears that the WV Tourist Commission is funded by liquor tax receipts rather than general tax revenues or "hospitality industry" fees like room taxes. Hence, doubling the current 11% liquor tax would generate increased revenues for the WVTC to spend on county fairs, festivals, and out-of-state advertising.

the computer spellcheck does not count as a reliable editor. You could write, "the writers can't not right anything that makes cents", and the spellcheck would not catch a thing wrong with it.
