Recommend a liquor store and bars in Downtown Dallas

I'll be in Dallas next week for work. Can anyone recommend a liquor store with a decent bourbon selection and hopefully reasonable prices? I'll be meeting some old friends and I'm hoping to share a few rounds of something nice with them but I don't want to travel with a bottle if I don't need to. I'll be near the convention center downtown.

I'm also looking for any interesting bars in the area. Thanks.

It's an independent, and the owner is a great guy.

Goody-Goody: 3316 Oak Lawn Avenue. Great selection, good prices, upscale neighborhood.

Beverage Depot: 2810 Samuell Blvd. Great prices, good selection, a bit sketchy neighborhood.

Pogo's: 5360 W Lovers Ln. Very good/excellent (last visit) selection. Near a very tony neighborhood. Priced to match.
