Interesting Comparison of ice alternatives

Some of the pours I have I like a chip of ice, some are bigger than others depending on the time of year and proof. I buy clear ice by the bag for most but recently got into the larger cubes and use purified water from the reverse osmosis water purification system when making my own. Got some sandstones but have not been too impressed with results. I got a rock garden but never really thought of putting any of the stones in the freezer to use in my Drams! I' d have to buy bigger glasses and end up drinking too much for the wife's liking. Come too think about it I'm already there.

Tried the ice balls but they are a pain. if I decide not to drink neat I just add a ice cube from the fridge.

They can be annoying, but I rarely use ice, so I just deal with it
