garbanzobean
I don't use the bottles for anything, but used to collect the labels. Then I realized I have no time to get the labels off the bottle and that having empty bottles of booze lying around annoys my wife, so I decided to just start recycling them. After defacing the label, if the bottle is particularly valuable.
Harry in WashDC
What Garbanzo said. I do keep some OWA 750 bottles on hand after removing the labels and using GooGone on the sticky stuff left on the bottles. Why OWA? The plastic label peels off easily, and the paper labels don't leave much glue to be removed and are easy to scrape off. I use them to hold decants of handles I've bought on sale because I have LOTS of trouble pouring from handles AND the handles take up a lot of room and are also harder to hide.
