DTR21
Hey All,I live in Saskatchewan, where we have limited bourbon selection at the government run liquor stores, so my options are basically as follow:Buffalo Trace - $40Bulleit - $35Elijah Craig 12 - $50Knob Creek - $47Jim Beam Black (6yo) - $29Jim Beam White - $25Woodford Reserve - $48Wild Turkey 81 - $29Jim Beam Devils Cut - $33All those prices are for 750ml bottles - ouch.Anyhow, I'll be visiting Vancouver (Canada) in April and I was planning on checking out the bourbon selection while I'm there. I know from the government website (BC is also gov't run liquor) that I should be able to get Basil Haydon's 8yo for $50, Booker's for $55, Eagle Rare for $55 and Four Roses Single Barrel for $55.EC12, OGD114 and OWA are a few of my favourites (lived in California until recently). So my questions are: what should I plan on bringing home from Vancouver, based on what's available there as well as here in Saskatchewan? It looks like the prices for the Booker's and FRSB aren't too far from what I remember paying in California, and I can't get either of those here in Saskatchewan. I'll probably end up spending a couple hundred on something, and I just want to get my moneys worth. Thanks for the help.Dave

DTR21
Yeah, I've pretty much tapped the local selection, so I'm going to have to start shopping out of province. Edmonton's only eight hours away!
amg
I'd definitely pick up some Booker's and some FRSB. Basil Hayden is okay, but at 80 proof is just a little too watery for my taste. Eagle Rare seems to be hit or miss from one barrel to another. Some are good and some are less so.
