Bookers "Big Man, Small Batch" and RHF. Just adding them to my bunker for now as I have open ones ready.

Weller seems to be invading London at the moment. Picked up an Old Weller Antique and stumbled across a Parker's Heritage Wheated which I just couldn't refuse.

I doubt you'll regret it.

Went in for something else and also walked out with a (new) Bourye.

Picked up a liter of KC. This is the bourbon that got me hooked. Haven't bought any in a while. Still hitting the spot.

Cheers

I haven't tried the new version yet, but if it's as good as (or better than) the previous batch you won't be disappointed.

The WN overtook me today. I went back to one of my favorite spots hoping to get a HMcKSB, but they were out so I grabbed an OFSIG since mine is almost empty and I love it, and also grabbed a GD12 as johnnyflake45's picture above was still burned into my brain. I then ran over to a new store that someone in another thread recommended to grab a EWW and they had a pretty nice bourbon selection for a grocery store. Not only did they have the EWW as promised but they had a EWSB '06 which I had to grab to go with the '04 and '05 I have and as an added bonus they had 4 bottles of HMcKSB so I grabbed one. Bought a lot more than I had planned but kept the avg bottle price below $27ea.

Fozzy,

Just an FYI, but I believe it is a no-no to openly discuss any trading with other members you might or might not being doing.

I picked up a Henry McKenna Private barrel, a Smooth Ambler private barrel 7 yo Rye, a 1792 private barrel, a Bernheim un-chill Filtered private barrel, and an Elijah Craig Barrel Proof - 139 proof. I also picked up a Sheep Dip Islay blend and a Glendronach 15. Those should get me through the this weekend at least.

Nice haul! Depending on who is doing the selecting, private barrels can be an awesome version of a generally available bourbon. Some of my favorites, even when including LEs, include private barrels of standard offerings.

Started the morning with a early find of Weller 12.

No complaints with that.

I am at my cabin in South Carolina and the liquor stores are not that well stocked. So I took a 25 mile trip to North Carolina where they residents are well healed. They had a great selection, I picked up a few OWA, larceny and a bottle of defiant. It was a nice trip thru the mountains.

Added a Binny's FR OESO 12+yr single barrel to the Weller 12 from the morning.

Nice way to break a buying dry spell.

Was in North Florida and picked up a bottle of HHOSB. I haven't seen it in Central Florida before. Not expecting much at 80 proof and $10.

Yeah, I think that 80 proofer is a 3-year-old. Does it say on the back?

Had a sample of a 9 year Willett, liked it enough to buy the bottle.

While waiting for my Four Roses distillery tour I pocked up an OBSQ from the gift shop. Should be a nice way to relax this evening. Cannot wait!
