whiskeyscope
While waiting for my Four Roses distillery tour I pocked up an OBSQ from the gift shop. Should be a nice way to relax this evening. Cannot wait! What a coinkydink! I was at Cox's Creek that day and decided to buy that same bottle after the tour guide let me have a taste. The $72 was hard to swallow, but whatever. I also picked up an ECBP #8 at the Heritage Center. That was a difficult decision at $75. But it's so damn scarce in Chicago. On a funny note, I was also at the distillery yesterday. In the video they show you before the tour, you can see a bunch of the sample bottles from barrels/batches they use internally. One of those bottles said Diageo, plain as day. I'm like, I wonder where that's going? Cough...Bulleit...cough....
elmossle
Grabbed another bottle of OWA this evening. Didn't need it as I had some in the bunker already, but can you ever have enough bourbon in reserve? I think not.
