Yeah, I think that 80 proofer is a 3-year-old. Does it say on the back?

No....I looked but could not find an age statement.

I almost grabbed one of those today to try but the store I was at had em marked up above state minimum so I just grabbed an OGDBIB and WT101 for the bunker instead.

On the home from the visiting the folks this weekend, stopped by a new place and grabbed Forged Oak x2.

Had a good weekend!

Picked up two more ECBP #8 ($44.95 + tax). One for me and one for a friend. Now I don't have to sheepishly drink the when I have opened.

While waiting for my Four Roses distillery tour I pocked up an OBSQ from the gift shop. Should be a nice way to relax this evening. Cannot wait!

I had an OBSQ recently (last six months) that was one of my all-time favorites. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I did mine!

Decided to start exploring the lower shelf, picked up an Ancient Age 90 this weekend. Drove up to Detroit yesterday. Found 3 ETL's @ $34.99 - Bought 2, left the 3rd for the next guy. (Sure beats the price we pay in KY now)

Found one of those old Old Forester 75th Anniversary of Prohibition boxes from several years back in a dumpy liquor store down the road from my house for $17.

OFSig . . . $22.99 . . . getting hard to find at times, especially at this price.

It was dam near perfect. All that was missing was drinking it at home in my recliner and I'll be doing the tomorrow night.

What a coinkydink! I was at Cox's Creek that day and decided to buy that same bottle after the tour guide let me have a taste. The $72 was hard to swallow, but whatever. I also picked up an ECBP #8 at the Heritage Center. That was a difficult decision at $75. But it's so damn scarce in Chicago.

On a funny note, I was also at the distillery yesterday. In the video they show you before the tour, you can see a bunch of the sample bottles from barrels/batches they use internally. One of those bottles said Diageo, plain as day. I'm like, I wonder where that's going? Cough...Bulleit...cough....

Grabbed another bottle of OWA this evening. Didn't need it as I had some in the bunker already, but can you ever have enough bourbon in reserve? I think not.

EC12 being behind the counter is not something I like hearing about!
