Very interesting read. Thanks for sharing. I enjoy these threads of people "getting thrown in the well" so that others may ask questions.

Holy smokes!!! that website is confusing. *sigh* I feel old now, can't even figure out how to subscribe to a thread and find it when I login later. I guess this is where I start struggling with the newer technology and my kid will make fun of me one day because I am too slow.

Yea, everytime I open a reddit thread I have to adjust my eyes. It looks like a 1995 website. Maybe that's part of its appeal to its users, though (kind of like craigslist).

Veeeery Interesting! Thanx for putting this up for us to review, amg.

To johnnybogey: I too, am totally clueless about all the e-com/tech stuph. I like nosing and drinking Bourbon, though!

I caught that reddit thread last night. It's disappointing Buffalo Trace distillery can't offer employee discounts on alcoholic products. Anybody know what law (or regulation) prohibits it and the purpose it was enacted?

reddit is so weird with the upvote/downvote thing. Sometimes you'll open up a review thread and find responses to the review posted above the review itself because the review got downvoted by some schmuck who didn't agree with it or something.

Once I figured out how to sort in some logical sense, this was a great read! Never had heard of using air to adjust the proof, but makes sense.

I'm going to start selling sterling silver 'proofing' straws with Pappy's face etched on them.

Interesting read. This is why all distillery tour guides should be retired production workers.
