gohrmund
I have an older friend that was cleaning out his storage locker and can across a sealed bottle of AA from 1983. He gave me the bottle but I don't know what to give in return. I would like to at least give him something in return, not bourbon. I dot want to seem cheap.Gary

That was a cheap bottom shelfer back in the day, and has pretty much stayed there. If he's a wine drinker, you'd be more than generous by giving him a $10 bottle of his favorite type. ThirstyinOhio
Give him your insight and wisdom on bourbon. Offer to share a drink or two of some better stuff from your whiskey collection.I like this idea best. Maybe do a tasting with a side by side comparison of AAA 10 year and 10 star.
