Zeke
Howdy!I have a Small Batch and a Straight Rye that I'd be more than happy to put in the mail to you.
drgonzo
Thank you for the offer. I really appreciate it, but I've got all the E.H. Taylor bottles, but I'm missing the tube for the Sour Mash, so I'm looking for that one to complete the set. I was hoping to find someone that is just drinking it and wouldn't matter parting with the tube.
Zeke
Howdy!I'd love to be able to offer you exactly what you're looking for. But I'm in Quebec and just happy to be able to have bottles of the Small Batch and Straight Rye. I don't need, nor want the sleeves. However, if I happen to come across a sleeve for the sour mash, it's yours. For those of you who collect neck tags, Blanton's corks, EH Taylor Tubes, etc. Be thankful that you are in a place where you can. There are lots of us, who can't even get the basic juice. Here in Montreal I have a choice of about 35 different labels/expressions.And no, I am not looking for pity, there are lots of other things (except the cold) that make up for the lack of bourbon diversity here. Zeke
Howdy! Thanks, and I've heard we're going up to (the equivalent of) 63°F this weekend. I hope you're warmer there.
drgonzo
Mostly just to quell my own OCD for having all the others, but the Sour Mash with no tube. Somebody must be drinking it and not care about a piece of cardboard.
jfw
Mostly just to quell my own OCD for having all the others, but the Sour Mash with no tube. Somebody must be drinking it and not care about a piece of cardboard. What drink the bourbon and not care about he cardboard tube? That's crazy! PM me with your info, because I did save a tube after I dispensed with all of the pesky bourbon in that bottle. Strangely, I selected this one for a pour at Delilah's yesterday after going to Chicago for WF on Friday followed by a WSR 7 year. It's been a few years since I had any, but I really like the EH Taylor SM. Much better than the cured oak IMO. But, hey, I like the OB Forged Oak. So, each his own and drink on... On another note, people of Chicago please realize how lucky you are to have Binnys. Joe Edited April 13, 2015 by jfw
